The organic cotton espadrilles are handmade by a group of women, with the technique inherited from the Guane textile tradition in Santander, Colombia. They first separate the seeds of each cotton ball, then they manually spin the fiber on a horizontal loom, and then use the fabric to manually make different products.

For all YOLI & OTIS garments, cold gentle machine wash and air dry.

We dye the fabrics of our carriers and accessories using only plants & herbs. Due to this, in some instances, the lack of chemicals can result in small colour runs, or fading in areas where the natural mordant may not have taken to the fabric.

Please take care when washing and use an organic or gentle environmentally friendly detergent.
