SALES REPRESENTATIVE (CASUAL)

We are expanding our front of the house team at our Byron Bay Yoli & Otis showroom.

Retail experience is essential.

Ability to work as part of the team and take initiative independent of direct supervision and to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of Yoli & Otis.

Ability to maintain a professional approach during all face to face interaction with customers, perform necessary customer follow-up in a timely manner and assist with the cleaning, opening and closing of the showroom and being accurate with the Point of Sale terminal.

Weekly hours: 15-20 hours to start. Hours may vary.

All applicants for the Sales Representative position will be required to be interviewed in our showroom as part of the recruitment process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2yr sales experience
  • People and communication skills
  • Strong computer (Apple/Microsoft) skills
  • Knowledge of Shopify and POS systems
  • Ability to work retail store hours as necessary, including Saturdays and the occasional holiday.
  • Organised and detail oriented
  • Flexibility to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs
  • Teamwork skills
  • Must have authorisation/visa to work in Australia

    E-COMMERCE ASSISTANT (CASUAL)

    The Causal E-Commerce Assistant will execute daily tasks such as order fulfilment, packing, shipping, receiving and replenishment, stock management, transferring of merchandise and assisting with wholesale orders/deliveries.

    Tasks also include monitor merchandise inventory and report on E-Commerce sales to management. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with customers to respond and follow up on requests for assistance in product, inventory and order/shipping information.

    The E-Commerce Assistant must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Yoli & Otis policies and procedures, product and service offerings and how various departments work and interact. 

    Maintaining a professional approach during all face to face interaction with all customers, performing necessary customer follow-up in a timely manner and assisting with the cleaning, opening and closing of the showroom.

    Additionally this position requires providing support and assistance to management and all co-workers.

    Weekly hours: 20-25 hours. This may vary depending on the season. Hourly pay will be based on the candidate’s experience.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum 1yr e-commerce experience
    • Dispatch/warehouse experience
    • People and communication skills
    • Strong computer (Apple/Microsoft) skills
    • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
    • Knowledge of Shopify and POS systems
    • Ability to work retail store hours as necessary, including Saturdays and the occasional holiday.
    • Organised and detail oriented
    • Flexibility to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs
    • Teamwork skills
    • Must have authorisation/visa to work in Australia
